Tony Romo finally came to his senses and broke it off with Jessica Simpson reports PEOPLE!! According to their source, Romo did the deed the night before her 29th birthday and claims, “She is heartbroken.” As for the reason behind the breakup, the source says, “She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways.” Still, Simpson seems to be in ok spirits having tweeted on Sunday, “Everyone needs to know that hope floats … grab the strings and pull it back to you.” Hey, maybe now that she and Nick Lachey are single again they can give it a second go?
