i think dakota fanning can pul off the role as jane because in the book shes not described at being that young and shes suppose to be old but just in the body of a twelve year old. so i think that she can just tap into her earlier roles from when she was younger and that the director wouldnt have casted her if they thought she was too old. they could have casted someone younger to play but they didnt.

welllll, i dont mean to be a hater but i think she is tooo old! she is supposed to be a little childlike vampire! she looks more like 16 than the 12 or 13 she is supposed to be…

She looked younger without all the eye mak up but she still got a childish face….i think its fine….
