Were the breakup rumors between Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal just a cover for a surprise engagement??? A source tells Popeater that the pair have never split and are still going strong! The rumors did, however, convince Jake that its time he show everyone just how serious he is about Reese, by proposing over Christmas! The source said, “Her children love him, his family loves her and now it’s time to make it official.” Looks like the new year might ring in a new marriage for the pair, who have been together for two years!
